Somerset’s Cougarettes took home victory this past Saturday at their regional drill team competition.
“They put in a years’ worth of work on a stage that held very experienced dance schools,” stated drill team coach, Shawn Serette.
Against these various competitors, the Cougarettes were awarded High Gold – the highest marks in their division.
Along with receiving a plaque for their performance, the individual members were given pins which they proudly wear on their team jackets.
Drill team performer Kaitlin Greaves said, “My favorite part of drill team is definitely the dedication. When you see the girls work really hard it’s so amazing.”
