You may only know me as the person that you see at lunch sometimes, or the girl who sits in the back of your science class. Well, why am I, the girl in your science class, writing this article for the newspaper? Being on Mrs. Horsley's newspaper staff is something I thoroughly enjoy doing. I mean, who wouldn't love correcting common grammar mistakes throughout articles? In all actuality, being an editor is a lot more than just improving sentences with a red pen. The truth is this job does in fact require a lot of responsibility. During my time so far as an editor, I have been able to practice and learn about journalism. In the future I plan on continuing this path or journalism and eventually becoming an editor for a newspaper.
