Math Competitions Count, Too!

This past Saturday, five high school students participated in a math competition at Palm Beach Atlantic University along with students from 25 other schools.

K’la Johnson, Ash Rahman, Nick Khaytin, Michael McNeill and Steven Jackson all put in a great effort. In order to participate, the individuals scored the highest out of 30 other students in a school-wide search for the best math competitors.

Their hard work may not have brought home any awards, but they did not leave empty handed. They returned with the experience, and Mrs. Rosado, the team leader, said they all deserve a pat on the back.

“They worked really well together as a team and I am very proud of them,” Mrs. Rosado said.
