The Key Club began a new tradition this month with the the first annual Harvest Drive.

Ms. Long and Ms. Tokan oversaw the collection and distribution of food items collected by each first period class.

Two classes excelled in their efforts to feed the community.  Mr. Kyle’s middle school class and Ms. Friedman’s high school class collected a combined 400 items.

“Now families won’t have to worry ‘will we have food, will we not have food,'” senior, Jacob Walansky said.  “There is more than enough to go around.”

Thanks to their efforts, nine school families and countless others throughout the community will have a meal to gather around this Thanksgiving.
