Field Athletes Place Highly at Districts, Look Forward to Regionals

On April 8th, 2019, four of our field athletes competed in the 2A District 14 Championships at Suncoast Community High School in Riviera Beach, Florida.

Cara Salsberry took home two gold medals, placing first in girls discus with 135’1’’ and first in girls shot put with 35’1’’.

Jobed Phanord took first place in boys discus with 131’4’’ and fifth place in boys shot put with 42’10’’.

Giordani Point Du Jour took second place in boys shot put with 45’7’’, creating both a new personal best and new school record as well.

Tremain Robinson took third in boys discus with 128’2’’.

The season does not end with districts, however. The regional competition will be held on April 27th in Titusville, Florida.
