The King’s Academy track meet on March 11, 2019 was where 10th grader field athlete Cara Salsberry brought home the gold in both girl’s discus and girl’s shot put. She set a new record for Somerset Academy Canyons Track and Field and a personal best for herself with her 141′ 05.00″ girl’s discus throw. She also threw shot put at a distance of 33′ 09.25″. She placed first in both events and brought home the gold, adding 10 points for each event for the team overall.
