Cougars Face Off Against Lions in Pink Out Game

Christina Salsberry, Editor-In-Chief

Yesterday, October 4th, our girls varsity volleyball team played in a gripping game in front of a full audience against Olympic Heights High school. Our HOSA chapter hosted the event, and the money raised helps go towards Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.

The first set was the most thrilling and nerve-wracking. After both teams reached the 25 point mark, the Cougars and Lions each took turns gaining points. Spectators sat on the edge of their seats, cheering as loud as they could for their team. Both teams refused to give up, and the score slowly rose on each side until finally, after what felt like forever, the Cougars won the set with a score of 31 to 29.

The second set and third sets were much easier for the Cougars, who won with scores of 25 to 15 and 25 to 8, respectively.

Congratulations, Cougars!
