Cougars Claim Victory against St. John Paul in Varsity Football

Aaron Lentz, Jason Timothee, and Jeremiah Jean

On Friday, August 31st, our varsity football team played against St. John Paul II Academy. Our Cougars proved themselves victorious by beating the Eagles with a score of 39-7. Even though two of our players suffered injuries, our team refused to give up.

Sophomore Giordani Point-Dujour led the Cougars’ offense with 160 rushing yards and three touchdowns. He was also a force on defense with one quarterback tackle, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery.

Our kicker, Matt Disisto, had some key moments that helped our team to win.

Overall, our team had a well-earned victory. Congratulations, Cougars!

Come show your support for our team at our next home game! It is this Friday, September 7th, at 4 p.m. against Somerset Academy – Pembroke Pines.
