On Friday, June 15^th, freshman Cara Salsberry competed in the New Balance Nationals Outdoor 2018 track and field competition in Greensboro, North Carolina. She placed 13 out of 47 competitors in Girls Discus Emerging Elite by throwing 37.82 meters (124.08 feet). She was one of three freshman who competed at the meet.
