Boys Varsity Volleyball Fought Hard Against Forest Hill

This evening, the Boy’s Varsity Volleyball team played an exciting game against Forest Hill High School. The players fought hard, many of them new to the team.

Tre Burrows (#12) started the game off with a strong 5 point streak, but the team ultimately lost the first set 19-25.

During the first and second sets, Brandon Board (#9) scored several points by serves and tipping the ball. Ben Ward (#11) hit several scoring serves, and made some points off of his blocks with the assistance of Jason Giallomgardo (#1) during the second set. Lucas Bustamante (#2), the libero, had some great scoring serves, as well.

The Cougars put up a good fight, but could not prevail, as Forest Hill won the second and third sets 14-25 and 16-25, respectively.
