In a world where hopeless romantics are faced with the burden to watch couples be happy on Valentine’s Day and all hope seems to be lost, a savior appears in the clearance isle of the local supermarket.

February can be defined by one term: “love is in the air”. No matter if you are part of the population that breathes it in or the ones that pull out their gas masks, it’s no denying that Valentine’s Day is considered a special holiday to many couples.

But what about those not in a relationship? What can they get out of this? February 15th: the day that hope is returned to all of the single people in the world. This is the day that all of the chocolates for Valentine’s Day that is left over is usually discounted for 50% off. For many single people, it is a day to look forward to. So, even if you are going to find someone special or stay alone for the rest of your life, you can enjoy some chocolate for half the price every one else paid and join others like you, for national single awareness day.
